About Me.
I am Choegyal Kyab, a multilingual professional with a deep passion for language, media, and Tibetan culture. With a Master's degree in Buddhist Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Korean Language and Literature from Dongguk University, I have dedicated my career to translation, research, and journalism.
I currently serve as a news presenter for Tibet This Week at the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR), Central Tibetan Administration. Additionally, I am the founder of Four Elements Language Services, providing professional translation services. My work includes translating literary and academic texts, and I have contributed to publications such as Tibet Times and Yeshe Literary Journal.
Beyond translation, I engage in research on Tibetan history and culture, having presented at international conferences like the International Symposium of Young Tibetologists at Oxford University. I am also involved in documentary filmmaking, focusing on Tibetan heritage and spiritual traditions.
Committed to preserving and promoting Tibetan culture through language and media, I strive to bridge historical narratives with contemporary discourse.
